What we can offer you
A small, settled team
You will know every child in the setting by name, not just the ones in your key group. Our team stays, which tells you most of what you need to know about working here.
Training that is real
Two of our team are specialist Early Talk Boost teachers and two deliver Maths Champions. We put people through the training they are interested in, not just the mandatory list.
Term time hours
We are open Monday to Friday in term time only, so your holidays land with the school holidays. For a lot of our team, that is the whole reason they are here.
A garden you will actually use
Every child goes outside every day. If your idea of early years involves wellies, planting beds and a lot of soapy water, you will fit in quickly.

Tell us about yourself
There is no formal application form at this stage. Fill in the short form and Sherri Revell will read it herself and reply, whether or not we have something open right now.
What we ask of everyone
- An enhanced DBS check, which we arrange and pay for
- Two references, one from your most recent setting if you have one
- Paediatric first aid training, which we fund if you do not hold it
- Safeguarding training, refreshed regularly with the rest of the team
We are committed to safeguarding children, so every appointment is subject to these checks. It is also worth knowing we welcome applications from everyone, whatever your background.
